52ND GOLDEN SPIN OF ZAGREB, CROATIA
WEDNESDAY 4TH - SATURDAY 7TH DECEMBER 2019
On THURSDAY 5TH DECEMBER BOBa began his campaign in the SENIOR MEN competition at the GOLDEN SPIN OF ZAGREB, CROATIA, which was taking place through until SATURDAY 7TH DECEMBER. This will be the last event, of 10, in the ISU CHALLENGER SERIES for the 2019/20 season.
In the SP BOBa placed 14th out of 29 with a score of 68.47 that included the 11th highest TES but also a one point deduction for a fall on his triple axel.
Still recovering from an injury, and improving all the time, there were a lot of positives to take from this latest performance, although BOBa himself sounded a little frustrated and disappointed when I spoke with him briefly by messenger the next morning 😕 !
The SENIOR MEN FS was due to take place on SATURDAY 7TH DECEMBER at 09.00 UK time (12.00 MOSCOW time) with BOBa scheduled to be the 14th skater to take to the ice (3rd out in the 3rd warm up group) out of the 29 in this competition.
Sadly at the GOLDEN SPON OF ZAGREB, CROATIA, the last event, of 10, in the ISU CHALLENGER SERIES for the 2019/20 season, BOBa did not produce the performances he was quite easily capable of, particularly in the FS!
In the SENIOR MEN FS on SATURDAY 7TH DECEMBER BOBA placed 19th out of 26 with a score of 116.65 that included the 17th highest TES, and the 16th highest PCS, but also four points deducted for three falls 🤦♀️ , and 16th overall with a total score of 185.12.
