So TOMORROW (THURSDAY 24TH MARCH) VOVA begins his campaign at the ISU WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022, MONTPELIER, FRANCE, where competition is currently taking place from TODAY (WEDNESDAY 23RD) through until SATURDAY 26TH MARCH.
The SENIOR MEN SP is due to commence at 11.30 local time/10.30 UK time/13.30 Moscow time TOMORROW with VOVA scheduled to be the 16th skater to take to the ice (4th out in the 3rd warm up group), at 13.43 local time/12.43 UK time/15.43 Moscow time, out of the 30 in this competition.
We are super excited, and hoping for a good result for VOVA!

YESTERDAY (THURSDAY 24TH MARCH) at the ISU WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022, MONTPELIER, FRANCE, where competition is taking place from WEDNESDAY 23RD through until TOMORROW (SATURDAY 26TH MARCH), the SENIOR MEN competition got underway with the SP.
A fabulous clean program from VOVA placed him 14th out of 29 with a score of 85.83 that included the 13th highest TES.
The SENIOR MEN FS is due to take place at 10.55 local time/09.55 UK time/12.55 Moscow time TOMORROW (SATURDAY 26TH MARCH), with VOVA scheduled to be the 11th skater to take to the ice (5th out in the 2nd warm up group), at 12.28 local time/11.28 UK time/14.28 Moscow time, out of the 24 in this competition.

So first thing TODAY (SATURDAY 26TH MARCH) in the SENIOR MEN FS at the ISU WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022, MONTPELIER, FRANCE, where competition has been taking place from WEDNESDAY 23RD through until TODAY, VOVA placed 15th out of 23 in the FS with a score of 147.79, that included the 14th highest TES but also two points deducted for falls, and 16th overall with a total score of 233.62.
We did not see the best of VOVA TODAY, but this week we saw his best performance so far at an ISU WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS overall. Last year he finished in 27th place and failed to qualify for the FS, and at his debut in 2019 he placed 17th overall with a total score of 230.84.
