ISU GP OF FS ROSTELECOM CUP, MEGASPORT ARENA, MOSCOW, RUSSSIA,
FRIDAY 20TH - SUNDAY 22ND NOVEMBER 2020
So despite the worldwide pandemic, BOBa was back in competitive action at the ISU GRAND PRIX OF FIGURE SKATING 2020 series event the ROSTELECOM CUP 2020, which took place at the MEGASPORT ARENA, MOSCOW, from FRIDAY 20TH through until SUNDAY 22ND NOVEMBER.
The SENIOR MEN SP took place at 13.30 local time on FRIDAY 20TH NOVEMBER with BOBa scheduled to be the 8th skater to take to the ice (2nd out in the 2nd/final warm up group), at 14.30 local time, out of the 12 in this competition.
The SENIOR MEN FS took place at 13.30 local time on SATURDAY 21ST NOVEMBER.
BOBa performed his SP on FRIDAY 20TH NOVEMBER in the MEN competition at the ISU GRAND PRIX OF FIGURE SKATING 2020 series event the ROSTELECOM CUP 2020 (the 3rd out of 4 in this year’s slimmed down series), which took place at the MEGASPORT ARENA, MOSCOW, through until SUNDAY 22ND NOVEMBER.
BOBa placed 9th out of 12 with a score of 81.55 that included the 6th highest TES. And considering that he placed last in the SP with a score of 54.42 at this event the year before this is a huge improvement from him in this difficult year.
The MEN FS commenced at 13.30 local time on SATURDAY 20TH NOVEMBER with BOBa scheduled to be the 4th skater to take to the ice, at 14.01 local time, out of the 12 in this competition.
On SATURDAY 21ST NOVEMBER BOBa produced a super performance, opening up with a cracking quad toe triple toe combination with a GOE of 2.66, followed by a quad toe with a GOE of 3.04, in the MEN FS at the ISU GRAND PRIX OF FIGURE SKATING 2020 series event the ROSTELECOM CUP 2020.
BOBa placed 10th out of 12 in the FS with a score of 158.24 that included a one point deduction fo a fall, and 10th overall with a total score of 239.79.
