On THURSDAY 23RD MARCH VOVA placed a fabulous 10th out of 34 in the MEN SP, with a score of 82.71, at the ISU WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2023, SAITAMA, JAPAN, which took place from MONDAY 20TH through until SUNDAY 26TH MARCH.

This result more than ensured that VOVA qualified for the MEN FS, which is due to commence at 17.20 local time/08.20 UK time/11.20 Moscow time on SATURDAY 25TH MARCH with VOVA scheduled to be the 15th skater to take to the ice (3rd out in the 3rd warm up group), at 19.50 local time/10.50 UK time/13.50 Moscow time, out of the 24 in this competition.
